HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!!
Happy Belated Father’s Day to all the daddies out there!!!
We were busy organizing rooms and getting rid of boxes, so I didn’t get a chance to post this!!! We are getting prepared for Ian’s birthday party this Saturday. I still can’t believe he’ll be TWO in four days!! yikes!!
Anyway, Happy Daddies Day to all the Daddies out there!!!
Looking back
So I was just looking back over the (scarcely used) blog, and am sad at thinking it’s been almost two years since the lil man came into our lives. There are times it feels like we’ve had him forever, and other times it seems like just yesterday we brought him home.
He’s gotten to be such a big guy, and got quite the personality on him. He knows what is funny, and laughs at the right times. He knows when something isn’t right and says “uhoh mommy!” and then attempts to comment about it. Excellent comprehension for an almost two year old. He also is really starting to talk more where you can understand what he is saying or thinking. He loves his mommy and daddy. Also loves “A-mama”, Jillian, “A-dada”, mamaw and pap-pap.
We are still at the best daycare created, Autumn’s Angels. Almost two years now since she opened. I have watched her, Jillian and Ian blossom and grow together, and am so grateful to have her as both a friend and caregiver to my son. He loves being there, and cries when we leave. What more could you ask for?
Oh, I know, him to eat a vegetable!!! maybe a fruit that wasn’t a banana!!! he is a very picky eater, but as long as he is growing, I’m not going to worry about it too much.
He loves music, and is starting to really like dancing to music. If he wants you to dance too, he’ll tell you to start, or drag you up to dance with him. His giggles light up the world, they are truly the best sounds God ever created. Except his whispered “I love you” which just sounds like babble, but you know what he means.
